Large conservatory extension as a living space extension. The winter garden extension was opened very generously towards the house. Windows and doors were removed, parts of the wall removed and large steel girders inserted so that the winter garden and living / dining area of ??the house form a large, bright living unit. An absolute dream!
One side of this property was also provided with a large wall. The beautiful quarry stone wall serves a little as a shield from neighbors, as a floor space and of course as a design element.
The large living room conservatory is designed as a saddled monopitch roof in order to generate a decent room height, which is extremely important for a comfortable climate in a conservatory with a glass roof.
The so-called Steinbach corners can be seen in the corners of the facade. These are somewhat narrower fields, which are additionally divided in height by two crossbars. A very popular design element in a Steinbach winter garden. A deep air inlet opening can be integrated very well into the lower field and the crossbars can be illuminated with LEDs. This ensures a very atmospheric, indirect illumination of the winter garden in the evening. |
External roof shading system, concealed facade shading, two supply air and two exhaust air windows and a winter garden control in the Steinbach energy column ensure a pleasant living environment.
The starry sky is integrated into the rafters, and of course the already mentioned ambient lighting in the Steinbach corners.
A good year after the completion of the property, I paid another visit to the very satisfied clients and thanked them for the pleasant cooperation. A sentence from the client burned itself into my head: "Mr. Steinbach, my wife and I can no longer understand how we were able to live here for 15 years without this wonderful winter garden". Great, goal achieved, was my first thought! |
