Large pent roof Conservatory with balcony skylight

Large pent roof winter garden with balcony skylight as a living space extension on the gable side of a single-family house. Since a large room volume or a lot of room height is infinitely important for the feeling of space and living comfort, this winter garden was not built against the front edge of the balcony at about 2.60 m rear height, but at about 3.60 m ridge height, i.e. roughly at the same height With this construction you kill at least three birds with one stone:

First:
Sufficient room volume is achieved - very important for a comfortable living environment in the winter garden. Since the roof surface does not “press” at all and the little heat that still gets inside, accumulates above the heads of the residents. The heat is then vented through the high ventilation windows before the residents of the winter garden notice anything ...

Secondly:
A proper roof slope for good self-cleaning of the roof.

Third:
The skylight, which sits on the balcony as a balcony parapet, can be equipped with high ventilation windows.

In addition, the question of a new balcony railing was superfluous ...

And something very special, which only Steinbach offers, can be recognized wonderfully in this object:

Concealed external venetian blinds! In our high-quality winter gardens, the facade shading (external venetian blinds or external venetian blind systems) is completely hidden behind our in-house developed gutter system. We do not build additional bulky panels in front of a 0-8-15 standard gutter, but instead use our shapely gutter to remove the rainwater from the roof surface and at the same time cover the retracted slat packs of the external venetian blinds.

The profile can run around the side, as here, then the non-shaded triangular glasses on the side panels are designed as neutral sun protection glass. Or you can work on the side with very elegant sloping blinds, which in turn move into our verge profile, also developed in-house, and shade the entire side part, including the incline at the top. Such sloping blinds were used in the next property, property no .: 5.

If, due to the weather conditions, the facade does not have to be shaded, the external venetian blind systems cannot be guessed, as no unsightly panels have been installed!

The division of the facade areas also plays an important role in the ambience in the winter garden. A large sliding door is built into each of the sides. Little traffic space is lost. At the front we have combined two large panorama panes (for a great view) and two cozy corners with crossbars!
