This sun-drenched living winter garden was built on the terrace on the upper floor in the course of various renovations and extensions. The shape of the roof is called a saddled monopitch roof and was necessary on this property to achieve sufficient space and opportunities for proper ventilation.

Two large, barrier-free sliding doors lead to the outside onto the spacious terrace. Two opposing tilt windows in the side gables ensure proper cross ventilation. The two deep-set air supply windows can be opened if necessary and ensure greater ventilation. The property is shaded all round so that it does not overheat in summer.

Integrated sloping blinds are installed in the side parts, which shade the entire façade. If no shading is required, the slats move very elegantly into the verge profiles specially developed by us. With these profiles, bulky, curtain-type external venetian blinds are no longer required.

In the front element, too, the Steinbach special channel profile ensures that the retracted sun protection slats are elegantly covered.

Our popular starry sky is integrated into the roof as atmospheric lighting. Also in the crossbars in the winter garden corners, individual light spots ensure great illumination of the property in the evening hours.

All shading and ventilation elements are regulated automatically (or manually) via a multi-channel control. In addition to all the transformers and dimmers for the starry sky, this control is located in our energy column, which is also very popular and which we wire up completely and connect to the power supply!
