Gable roof Conservatory with flat roof zone

Large saddle roof residential conservatory with flat roof zones on a wonderful half-timbered house in the former federal capital. With this spacious conservatory extension, urgently needed living space was created, which feels incredibly good, as you can guess very well from the numerous pictures. In order to create a reference to the existing building, all opening elements were contrasted in color. The windows and doors were coated in purple on the outside - the same color as the window reveals of the half-timbered house.

A double-leaf lift and slide door leads into the beautiful garden. Since the property is on the border, the walls facing the neighbors were designed as a closed fire wall.

The flat roof zones compensate for the sloping border and the connection to the house. Otherwise the winter garden could not have been built in this cubature. On the one hand, the roof structure would have been impossible to warp and, on the other hand, the bedroom window in the outer wall of the upper floor was in the way! The glazed structure could be built wonderfully as a saddle roof winter garden with an optimal ceiling height.

And this is what our satisfied customer writes to us, immediately after installation, from Bonn:

Hello Mr. Steinbach,

First of all, kudos for our new favorite piece! After all the waiting (note: long building permit phase) and the strenuous work, we are now just excited about our winter garden. Even if there is still work ahead of us, we already enjoy just standing in it to experience this beautiful space.

It is even more beautiful than we imagined and it goes wonderfully with the house. We could take entrance fees from interested passers-by, so please don't be surprised if you are soon inundated with inquiries from Bonn :)

As soon as the interior is finished - I hope around Easter - we will send you the first photos of the finished object.

We wish you a good week and, once again, thank you very, very much to you and your team for doing a really great job!

Another piece of information: Today someone from the building authority was there, the gentleman was so excited ... I could have told him straight away that Steinbach winter gardens look super beautiful :)

Best regards, also to your father

Your family H.
