This modern living space extension has nothing in common with the usual gable roof house, but it goes wonderfully with it! The mixture of the different architectural styles makes this combination so interesting. The light glass extension offers a fascinating, modern living space, the elevated position on the upper floor offers a fantastic view, which is almost unobstructed by the few struts in the facade.

We have revised, refined and optimized the construction in some areas.

The indispensable all-glass corners have remained, but the vertical support behind them has been further developed: It is now made of stainless steel, is slightly smaller in diameter and elegantly penetrates the wooden construction in the area of the corner connection. This new detail looks very noble and is an absolute feast for the eyes!

The gutter system has also been revised. The circumferential channel drains the roof surface and at the same time serves as a cover for vertical shading, the so-called external venetian blind systems. No additional external venetian blind boxes are built under the roof overhang.
This channel system is a proprietary development by Steinbach. It is also used in our other winter garden lines. The gutter also forms the circumferential roof overhang at the same time.
