Winter garden with hipped roof dome as an extension of the dining area of ??the Pizzeria da Fulvio in Solms.

Due to the positive response from guests, the guest room had to be expanded. 25-30 additional seats in a pleasant atmosphere should be created. Due to various additions / renovations in the past, there was actually no real space left for an additional guest room.

The landlord turned to us and asked if we had an idea for an extension in the form of a winter garden. Of course we had an idea ...

The only possible place for the extension was the small parking lot directly on the street. Nobody could really imagine that a new guest room should be built there. Especially since limit distances also had to be adhered to, which further reduced the available area. But we could well imagine it, because all we do all day long is taking care of conservatory extensions - often in much more difficult "locations". There were also enough parking spaces behind the house.

After a first site visit and a conversation with the host, we made a first draft. Due to the warped area, only a flat roof winter garden was possible. With a fine glass dome, of course, to create a great lighting atmosphere.

The first draft was already popular. And so we got the order to build this magnificent winter garden extension.

The result is this fine flat-roof winter garden in wood-aluminum construction, in which pizza and pasta taste a little better than before ... The slender structure consists of real fine teak on the inside (glued wood covered with real veneer). The hipped roof dome provides a great skylight and an airy feeling of space.

The circumferential gutter of the winter garden, here Steinbach offers 4 different and self-developed (!) Profiles, was designed as an ornate Victorian cornice. To match this, the corners were designed with corner posts and not as all-glass corners without a profile.
