Country-style conservatory with flat roof and hipped roof glass dome

This beautiful property in the Eifel is an individual home conservatory from our extremely diverse NOVARA line. Here the NOVARA winter garden was designed as a country house style winter garden.

Novara flat roof winter gardens from Steinbach have many faces.
Sometimes the well-insulated flat roofs have a glass dome, sometimes they are designed without a light dome. Sometimes more in the cubic Bauhaus style, with all-glass corners and internal stainless steel supports, with emphasis on the vertical or the horizontal, sometimes, as with this object here, more in the country house style, with bars, inclined corner posts (an all-glass corner does not fit the country house style) and profiled gutter cornices .

Your taste decides!

The hipped roof glass dome of this flat roof conservatory is glazed with triple energy-saving glass with a sun protection function in order to reduce the energy input to a comfortable level on sunny days.

Since the winter garden is on a north side and the dome is therefore only briefly exposed to the sun, it can be a little larger in relation to the very well-insulated flat roof than in a south-facing winter garden.

The closed and rear-ventilated flat roof construction has an extremely good U-value of less than 0.19 W / m²K, so that little heat is lost through the roof surface in winter.

However, the summer heat protection is even more important. Due to the well-insulated flat roof, there is little energy input in the warm season, so that NOVARA flat roof winter gardens from Steinbach are characterized by a very pleasant indoor climate all year round and do not overheat in summer!

Thanks to the dome, these winter gardens still get a great volume of space and sufficient daylight from above. In addition, such a glass dome looks really good ...

Our popular Steinbach corners are very often chosen for a NOVARA winter garden in a country house or cottage style. In this case even with integrated LED lighting so that the corners of the winter garden are beautifully illuminated in the evening.

NOVARA winter gardens in the modern, purist Bauhaus style are built with all-glass corners, without corner posts. The Steinbach corners would be absolutely out of place there, where the country house variant fits very well with the bars above and the winter garden as a whole creates a wonderfully harmonious picture.

In the photos you can also see the roll-up grille that covers the floor duct heating and the mandatory edge protection of the foot threshold. Every Steinbach winter garden is equipped with this edge protection as standard. One of the many quality features of a Steinbach winter garden. The metal cover protects this neuralgic edge from mechanical damage and cleaning water. In fact, there is no wear and tear in this area and the transition to the floor looks like new and not worn even after many years of use.

The pleated insect screen in front of the sliding door can also be seen very well in one or the other picture. The pleated blind moves completely to the side and is effectively out of sight if the function of the insect screen, for example when the door is closed, is not desired.

The small wall on the left side, seen from the inside, serves as a seat. The wall on the opposite side has a normal parapet height and offers privacy to the street and the appropriate space for the table.

Of course, the lighting concept of this country house style conservatory is also noticeable. Recessed spotlights are built into the closed ceiling, our popular LED starry sky is integrated in the rafters of the dome and in the Steinbach corners. A very special visual highlight is also the outside lighting in the heavily profiled (Victorian) Steinbach gutter cornice.

Of course, the facade shading is hidden behind the heavily profiled cornice so that in this winter garden, as in every exclusive Steinbach winter garden, no clunky panels have to be hung.

The planning for the foundation, base plate, etc. was also provided by us as a service.
