The owner of this beautiful home conservatory with a closed flat roof (without a glass dome) runs a steel trade. The closed wall was clad on the inside with Corten steel. I think it's a great design element. And because real steel is of course quite cold and quite heavy, in this case it is a - deceptively real - Corten steel imitation!
The winter garden manages without a glass dome and thus achieves the best insulation values, so that the very exclusive extension has a very comfortable living climate all year round.
Inside and outside, the slim structure is painted or powder-coated in RAL 7015. Behind the all-glass corners are our exclusive stainless steel columns on the room side, without massive corner posts in front of them. Overall, the property has a very harmonious color scheme, which is largely thanks to the client, who simply has good taste! |
In order to control the energy input in the area of the facade, integrated facade shading (so-called external venetian blinds) with a motor drive were installed. These shadings are concealed in our specially developed channel profile and - if the object is not shaded - cannot be seen!
A barrier-free sliding door with security fittings is installed in the front facade for access to the terrace. The building is ventilated via two tilting skylights, which are automatically opened and closed by a concealed motor drive, controlled by a multi-channel control system.
Of course, our flat threshold also has a metal edge protection on the inside, which protects this neuralgic point from cleaning water and mechanical stress.
The very well insulated and rear-ventilated flat roof has an insulation value of less than 0.19 W / m²K! |
